A Poem to Sit With
24th Sunday of Ordinary Time C
September 15, 2019J. Janda

There will be more joy in heaven
over one sinner who repents
than over ninety-nine righteous people
who have no need of repentance. (Gospel)

Assumption

Oh Christ
my
unicorn

to capture
you
is to slay

you—teach
me
to leave

this hunt
and
see your

spattered blood
in
all reality
