A Poem to Sit With
Solemnity of the

Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ A

June 18, 2017

J. Janda

Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood
has eternal life,
and I will raise him on the last day.
(Gospel)

Jesus Speaks

You can do
nothing
without me

why do you
keep trying
to do things

alone?

A child is not
supposed to
lift
heavy things
alone

all I ask is
that
you talk to me

tell me why
you are sad

tell me why
you are afraid

tell me why
you are tired

come to me—I
will refresh

you
