Easter Vigil Readings

Reflecting on the Gospel and Living the Paschal Mystery

Key words and phrases: sabbath was over, He has been raised, he is not here, there you will see him

To the point: The "sabbath was over." Not just a day bad ended, however, but an era. The new era Jesus' resurrection began is a passing over of his life to us, a passing over of his mission to us.

"[H]e is not here." We are. ''He bas been raised." We are raised with him. "[T]here you will see him." We are his visible presence everywhere. New life has burst forth. In Jesus, in us. Alleluia!
