He woke up,
rebuked the wind,
and said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!”

The Remembrance

  “Be still, be silent
I understand you”
he said

while cupping a flower

so a brother witnessed
then told a writer

who perhaps also felt
words as flowers

can hold a soul
