A Poem To Sit With
16th Sunday of Ordinary Time
July 17, 2016
J. Janda

“You are anxious and worried about many things.
There is need of only one thing.”
(Gospel)

  Jesus Speaks

Be kind to yourself
take care of yourself

some people walk
their dogs and
buy them presents
and take better
care of them than their own selves

and be kind
to others

even if they
upset you

remember
I made them
too

and be good
to your mother
and dad

remember
they make mistakes
too

and I love them
as
I love you
