J. Janda

“Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.”

(Gospel)

Christ Our Earth

To be rooted in
earth
is to be rooted in
Christ

and to embrace the
earth
is to embrace
Christ

to die
means to lose faith
or
to adopt an old faith

the belief in nothing
to believe that
I am nothing

to believe that
earth is nothing

to believe that
others are nothing

to believe that
my human endeavor
is nothing
and this is the
mystery of death

that one can die

rooted watered and
warmed by the sun

and say
all is nothing
yet live
