A Poem to Sit With
29th Sunday of Ordinary Time
October 20, 2019
J. Janda

While it is true that I neither fear God nor respect any human being,
because this widow keeps bothering me
I shall deliver a just decision for her
.
(Gospel)

Jesus Speaks

But if you
don’t open
your eyes

and you don’t
open your ears

or taste things
or touch things
or smell things

well then
you will never
know me

all that I
do
is to show
my
love for you

J. Janda
