THE GOSPEL

John 20:19-31

As the Father has sent me, so I send you..

Christ,
Come right through
our fear of locked pandemic doors;
breathe your Holy Spirit into us.
Give us please your peace
that comes from
perfect
love.

Not
to hoard
such treasure,
we want to give it out
to everyone who would believe.

Make us instruments
of the power
of your

resurrection.

THE FIRST READING

Acts 2:42-47

All who believed were together and had all things in common.

Make us all come together, Lord.
Feed all your people with
yourself and make
 us one in
you.

Thank you for your love, that unites us.
Let it be the nourishment
that gives us strength
to care for

each other’s needs.

Let us love each
other well.

THE SECOND READING

1 Peter 1:3-9

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who in his great mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope

Christ,

though we haven’t
seen you,
we love
 you.

Though our poor minds cannot
 grasp you very well,
we believe
 in you.

And with indescribable joy
 in your resurrection
we hope in
you
 always.
