For the Church: that we may be transfigured more and more into the image and likeness of Christ
For the grace to listen: that we may hear the voice of Christ in prayer, in events, and in relationships so that we may respond more fully to God’s invitation
For freedom from fear: that God will cleanse our hearts of fear and help us to live in the freedom of the Children of God
For courage: that we, like Abraham, may go forth from all that is familiar to new places and relationships into which God leads us
For all who are facing crisis, loss, or low points in their lives: that they may experience the transforming grace of God and grow in their trust of God to bring forth change and a new beginning
For Candidates for full communion with the Church: that God will lead them to a deeper awareness of the New Life within them and help them be renewed by their Lenten observance
For an openness of heart: that we may be open to God’s love and forgiveness offered to us in the sacrament of penance
For all who are trying to discern their calling in life: that they may make space in the busyness of life to let God’s Word move their hearts
For all the descendents of Abraham, for Jews, Muslims, and Christians: that we honor all that we share in common and work together to overcome evil that ensnares human hearts
For all who share in the sufferings of Christ, for those who are persecuted for their faith: that the Gospel may bring strength and courage to their hearts
For all expectant couples: that God will help their child to grow and develop and help them to be wise and loving parents
For all who are unemployed: that God will open new resources and opportunities for them to use their gifts and support their families
For all who are in dangerous situations especially members of the military: that God will guide them each day and preserve them from harm
For the gift of peace: that God will ease the tensions in the Ukraine and bring an end to violence in Syria and the Sudan so that all might live in safety
