For the Church: that we may have the freedom to leave everything and follow Jesus’ call to serve of the reign of God

For a deeper relationship with Christ: that we may be drawn toward Christ and find in him the meaning and purpose of our life

For a spirit of hope: that all who find themselves struggling with fear or anxiety about the future, may be renewed in mind and spirit with a vision of life and wholeness

For healing in Christian communities: that those who are caught in struggles and rivalries may allow the Spirit to touch their hearts and transform their minds so that the Body of Christ may be one

For the unity of all Christians: that all who bear the Christian name may work together to manifest the love and presence of God in our society

For all who help others find Christ, for spiritual directors, catechists, missionaries, and evangelists: that they may share the good news of Jesus in life-giving and healing ways

For all who are discerning a call to ministry: that God will help them hear the call and recognize the gifts they have so that the needs of hearts and souls may be addressed

For release from boredom: that we may recognize each moment of time as a gift from God and an opportunity to encounter God

For all who are unjustly detained or deprived of freedom: that they may be freed unharmed and return to their communities and loved ones

For all who feel caught in darkness, particularly those with depression: that the light of God’s love will open new opportunities for growth and wholeness

For the President and new members of the administration: that God will give them wisdom to lead the nation and guide them in developing policies for the common good

For all who struggle with the yoke of addiction: may God help them find freedom and a community that will support them

For a greater appreciation and dedication to human life: that God will help us to respect and defend the value of life from conception until natural death

For all who are oppressed by the power of nature: that God will ease their suffering, calm the power of nature and give them hope

For refugees and those fleeing violence: that God will protect them from harm, guide them to food and shelter, and open the hearts of many to assist them

For our common home: that the Spirit will help us be good stewards of God’s creation
For peace: that the Spirit will bring forth a new commitment to justice and peace in the hearts of world leaders
