Night is coming when no one can work.
While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
(Jn 9:4-5)

Knee-Deep in Lake Chateaugay

Christ touching
through images

so fleeting—

   absences

   realer than
   realities

   nightmares—

eyes adjusted
to
darkness

are blinded
by
light

and so close—
some
spit and mud

are required
for
healing
