For the Church: that we may fulfill our calling to be the Body of Christ in the world and continue Christ’s mission of bringing hope and healing to all
For all who are awaiting the gift of the Holy Spirit: that their hearts may be open and their spirits receptive to all the gifts of God
For a spirit of evangelization: that we may allow the Spirit to work through our words, deeds and relationships to draw others to Christ
For the grace of wisdom and knowledge: that our hearts may be enlightened and our hope made firm in God who has called us
For the grace to be fearless: that we may follow God’s call confidently and trust that God will guide us through all challenging situations
For those who face the future with apprehension and uncertainty: that God will enlighten their path and give them peace
For all nations and their leaders: that the reign of peace and justice of God's rule may inspire all who lead and govern to seek the common good
For greater unity in the Church: that we may be one in faith, one in hope and one in the peace of the Holy Spirit
For all who struggle with doubts: that the Spirit of Christ will comfort their minds and bring understanding to their hearts
For all who care for the sick: that God will work through them to bring comfort and healing to the sick and the elderly
For all who work to bring food to our tables: that God will bless them with seasonable weather and a bountiful harvest
For all missionaries: that God will help them to boldly announce the Good News and sustain their spirits as they help build the church
For all who face persecution for their faith: that the Spirit will help them to witness to Christ by their lives and free them from fear
For all who are not free, particularly those struggling with addictions: that God’s love shown forth in Christ’s victory may bring hope and courage to them
For the gift of peace: that the reign of Christ will inspire all leaders to strive anew to end violence and establish just and peaceful societies
