- For the Church: that the unconditional love of the Trinity may strengthen and inspire each of us, deepen our love for one another, and help us to witness God’s love and mercy to others
- For the grace of discernment: that we may recognize our true goals in life and follow Jesus on the path to everlasting life
- For all believers: that we may recognize that God is always present in our lives and constantly journeys with us through all the joys, the sorrows, and our everyday responsibilities
- For a new perspective in living: we may learn from the mutuality of the Trinity and make out relationships more life giving and of greater service to others
- For a spirit of wonder and awe: that we may behold the marvelous deeds of God in nature, in relationships, and within ourselves and be motivated to cooperate with God in greater commitment and sincerity
- For a new experience of grace and mercy in our lives: that God’s love will free us from our past failures, give us courage to make amends, and help us renew and rebuild our significant relationships
- For our parish communities: that the life-giving love of the Trinity may flow through us so that we may be untiring in supporting the lonely, consoling the grieving, encouraging the struggling, and forgiving those who have injured us
- For all married and engaged couples: that their witness of love and self-sacrifice may be a reminder of Christ’s self-giving love for us and all the human family
- For a greater sense of community: that we may be freed from individualism and grow in our appreciation of each person and their role in the family of God so that each person may know that they are appreciated and valued
- For all who are ill, particularly those with Covid-19: that God will free the world from the virus, heal those who are afflicted, and protect others from the disease
- For all who are unemployed: that God will ease their fears, give them courage to pursue new opportunities, and open new pathways to support themselves and their families
- For University and educational leaders: that God will inspire them with new options for opening classes in the fall that will help students learn and keep students and faculty safe
- For victims of human trafficking: that God will free them from captivity, awaken hearts to the suffering that exists, and bring forth a new attitude in society that respects the dignity of each person
- For all who have experienced violence: that God will heal their suffering, ease the pain of their memories, and give eternal peace those who have died
-
For an end to violence in our cities: that God will give courage to
all who are working for peace in neighborhoods, help the voices of
those who have experienced injustice to be heard, and turn the
hearts of those prone to violence toward new ways of working for
change
